How A Gold-Plated Rose Could Be The Perfect Stress Reliever
Most people are no strangers to feeling stressed. Whether it’s from work-related activities or something in your personal life, it’s something that can be hard to avoid. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t help your partner overcome it. If you’re looking at one way of handling it, then a gold-plated rose could help deal with those issues.
A study from Wakefield Research and the Society of American Florists (via PR Newswire) found that 68 per cent of people said they felt stressed on a weekly basis. In fact, 32 per cent of people said they were stressed every day, while one in four women experienced the issue multiple times in a day.
Some people will have found ways to handle stress, but there might be an even more effective way of handling it: flowers. According to research from the University of North Florida, flowers significantly improved the mood of many people who received them.
Professor Erin Largo-Wight, the program director for public health at the University of North Florida, commented: “There is a growing body of research that illustrates how environmental design positively impacts health. Now it is both intuitive and scientifically known that adding elements of nature, like flowers, to interiors promotes well-being.”
If you’re looking ahead to a big occasion or find your partner overwhelmed by their workload, you’ll know that presenting them with a gold-plated rose is one way to instantly change their mood. Unlike regular flowers, though, it won’t be a gift that lasts for the short term and can serve as a constant reminder to stay positive when your day takes a turn for the worse.
